Lowcountry Libations (LCL) is a group of men and women dedicated to homebrewing in the greater Charleston area. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to promoting the hobby and beer evaluation through monthly meetings and special events. Monthly meetings are meant as a forum for members to taste and discuss brews. Special events include our competitions, group brew days, national events, and Charleston Beer Week. Guests are always welcome, Cheers!

LCL also promotes involvement in the national Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) and is committed to sponsoring beer judge study groups and qualifying exams. We are a member club of the Southeastern Homebrew Association as well as the American Homebrew Association.

Each year we fundraise for our charity, Camp Happy Days, whose mission is to provide cost-free, year-round programs to children with cancer and their families. Summer Camp is their signature program; they have served over 1,500 kids across South Carolina.
